Moto Migration Center

Switching systems? Bring your business with you.

Export your files from RepairDesk, RepairQ, Square, Clover, Lightspeed or any spreadsheet, upload them here, approve the matching, and your customers, inventory, serialized units, devices, repairs, sales history, transactions, services and vendors are in Moto. No manual rebuilding, no copy and paste weekends.

Six ways in

One migration engine, whichever platform you are leaving

Every account exports its own way, with different column names, different orders and different files, so the Migration Center doesn't assume anything. It reads your actual files, detects what's in them, and lets you confirm the matching before a single record moves.

Coming fromWhat transfersWorth knowing
RepairDeskCustomers, inventory, serialized units, devices, repair tickets, invoices, transactions, services, vendorsTicket photos, signatures and attachments are not in the export files
RepairQCustomers, catalog and parts, serialized units, customer assets, work orders, sales orders, payments, labor, suppliersStore credit balances arrive as customer notes, not spendable credit
SquareCustomer directory, item library, inventory counts, transactions, payments, vendorsSquare keeps no repair tickets or customer devices, so those start fresh in Moto
CloverCustomers, inventory items with cost and stock, orders, payments, vendorsClover keeps no repair tickets or customer devices, so those start fresh in Moto
LightspeedCustomers, items with SKU and UPC, serial numbers, shop inventory, sales, payments, work orders, vendorsDevices come only from the work orders your account exports
CSV or ExcelAnything you can export from any other platform, one file per record typeNothing is assumed about your column names, so expect to confirm more matches by hand

Photos, signatures and file attachments are not part of these exports, so they stay behind.

How it works

Four steps, one afternoon

1

Pick your old platform and export

Choose RepairDesk, RepairQ, Square, Clover, Lightspeed or plain CSV and Excel. Moto shows you exactly which reports to export from that platform, saved as CSV or Excel. ZIP them up if you like, because we take that too.

2

Upload and let Moto read them

Drop the files in. Moto detects what each file contains, how the columns are laid out, and how confident it is. Every account exports a little differently, and that is fine.

3

Review the column matching

You see exactly how each column maps to Moto before anything is imported. Leftover columns can be matched by hand, or Moto can suggest a match that you accept or override. Nothing moves until you approve it.

4

Import, review, and go live

Watch the import run step by step. Flagged duplicates and review rows get your decision to merge, keep, or skip. Get a full report, and roll back everything if you change your mind.

Works with CSV, XLS, XLSX, and ZIP, up to 12 files per migration.

What comes over

Your store, not just a customer list

Customers

Names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, and notes, linked to their history and devices.

Inventory & products

SKUs, barcodes, brands, costs, retail prices, and opening stock quantities, with opening-quantity movements recorded.

Serialized inventory

IMEI and serial-number tracked units stay tracked, with condition, cost, and price per unit.

Customer devices

Every device on file, including make, model, color and IMEI, linked back to the right customer.

Repair tickets

Open and historical tickets come over with device info, issue, diagnosis, estimates, and status. You choose how open tickets land.

Invoices & sales history

Your full sales history imports with dates, totals, tax, discounts, payment methods, and refunds, attached to the right customer.

Transactions

Payment records land on their matching invoice when one exists, so revenue is never counted twice. Standalone payments import as their own record.

Repair services & vendors

Your service price list becomes a Moto service catalog, and your vendors and suppliers come over with contacts and payment terms.

Safety first

Your data moves carefully, or not at all

Duplicates are never merged automatically

When Moto isn't certain two records are the same, it flags them and asks you. Certain matches link up; uncertain ones wait for your call.

No invented data

New products are created only from what's actually in your export, never guessed prices, specs, or fields.

You approve every mapping

Column mappings are shown for review before the first row moves. Your data, your decisions.

Full rollback

Everything imported carries its migration batch, so one click removes the entire import cleanly, in the right order.

Complete audit trail

Every record keeps its source system and legacy ID, and every migration event is logged with who and when.

Partial deliveries handled

Stop and resume any time. The import picks up where it left off without double-importing what's already in.

Open repairs? You decide how they land.

Review first

Import open tickets as pending so you confirm each one before it goes live.

Activate

Bring open tickets straight onto the bench, ready to work.

Keep as history

Store them as completed records for reference only.

Skip them

Leave open tickets in your old system and bring only closed history.
